A short 30 minutes away on Highway 37 North, Oliver Winery is home to award winning wines. Their goal is to make approachable and satisfying wines that capture the flavor of high quality fruit.

Bluesprings Cavern


Only 30 minutes away on Highway 37 South. Bluesprings Caverns offers an hour long boat ride through an underground cavern. The only light comes from the illumination on the boat. You will be enveloped in total darkness. A crisp 52 degrees year-round a light jacket is suggested.  An exciting adventure for you and your family. Reservations are not needed. Closed January-March 15th.

French Lick Winery



One hour away through the scenic hills of southern Indiana French Lick Winery boasts over 25 different wines distilled from grapes grown in their vineyard.  Visit the winery for tasting and enjoy a fine meal at The Vintage Café and while you’re there browse the gift shop.

Wonderlab Museum of Science, Health, and Technology



Thirty minutes away in the heart of downtown Bloomington, Wonderlab is an award-winning science museum and friendly family destination. The two-story museum offers hands-on exhibits and programs rich in educational content for visitors of all ages.

Bloomington Brewing Company



Located in the heart of Indiana University’s campus on East 10th Street, the Bloomington Brewing Company is southern Indiana’s first brewpub. All their beers are brewed on the premises and are only served on tap for the freshest taste possible.

IU Art Museum



On the campus of Indiana University the Indiana University Art Museum designed by world renowned architect I.M. Pei the IU Art Museum will engage, stimulate, and satisfy your curiosity about the worlds of art. See art from African masks to paintings by Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso to objects representing nearly every art-producing culture throughout history.

Fairfax State Recreation Area

Scenic bluffs, rolling topography and lushly wooded areas encompass Lake Monroe. The Fourwinds is nestled in Fairfax State Recreation Area. Fairfax offers hiking trails, boating, fishing, shelter houses, picnicking, fire pits, and birding. Bring your binoculars. Fairfax has bald eagles, herons, warblers, woodpeckers, turkey vultures, owls and many species of water fowl.
